Jet Lag, the Spring Summer 16 Haute Couture collection from On Aura Tout Vu is inspired by the novel The Afterlife from Billy Finger which claims: “We are the universe, but society teaches limitation”.

On Aura Tout Vu consider how one feels out of one’s comfort zone, jet lagged by the confusion created by reality and imagination and by gravity and time.

The core inspiration of On Aura Tout Vu is the future with a futurist form of timeless atmosphere and movement. Jet Lag also draws on surrealist influences with the contradiction of shape and silhouette.

The gowns are made of silk, lace and feather to embellish the silhouette of a forward thinking and fierce woman such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga or Madonna, who used On Aura Tout Vu to create some of her costumes for her Rebel at Hearts tour.

Sadly the pictures can only project a still image of the magnificent gowns which wowed the audience compounded of many clients, a big plus in couture shows, as clients aren’t afraid to show their appreciation for a specific gown by clapping and yelling positive comments to the designers waiting backstage. A very unique and emotional experience in itself.
