Last Tuesday I’ve hosted a private shopping event for my clients at the Lucy Choi boutique in Connaught Street. The event was held to celebrate the launch of Lucy new collection for Autumn Winter 2016. For the occasion Lucy generously offered VIP prices to my guests who were also treated to a goodie bag with any purchase made during the event.
Tuesday’s exclusive shopping event was also the occasion for my clients to enjoy an evening of networking around a glass of Champagne with like minded stylish fashionistas and shoes lovers.
As per the previous shopping event held in May, I had the privilege to host a Q&A with Lucy. In addition to be an opportunity to shop in a luxurious setting, it was also the occasion to meet with the designer herself. During the Q&A, we discussed Lucy’s inspiration behind her new Autumn Winter collection and the introduction of few new designs such as the Caruso, the “collar shoe” which I was wearing during the event.
During our informal Q&A, Lucy revealed that she wanted her new collection to be more sexy and feminine. For instance she created the Caruso to replicate a collar. Alike the collar of a shirt that embellishes the female delicate neckline, the Caruso was designed by Lucy to embellish women’s equally delicate ankles.
Lucy also revealed that she loves meeting with her clients during intimate events such as the private shopping event I hosted for her and my clients. Lucy loves to hear about her clients’ favourite shoes from her collections and regularly seeks their feedback on her designs which she would then use in her upcoming collections.
The event was generously sponsored by Kure Bazaar and Gazelli Skincare. Kure Bazaar held a pop up nail bar in Lucy’s boutique where they treated the guests to their renowned organic manicures. Guests were also treated to a luxurious goodie bag including Lucy Choi, Kure Bazaar and Gazelli Skincare gifts with any purchase made during the event.
