Julien MacDonald held a magnificent show at the luxurious and decadent Goldsmiths’ Hall. After what seemed to be the longest queue in London Fashion Week’s history and biggest street style shoot’s catwalk, guests were greeted by a party like playlist that’s set the tone for Julien MacDonald’s AW17 collection.
Dresses were magnificent and hand stitched on the body, perfectly embellishing the mysterious female curves.
Designed for a “a party at the end of the universe”, Julien MacDonald’s takes inspiration in a futuristic landscape to recreate a modern architecture silhouette where sharp lines and fabrics cut out contrast with the delicate Swarovski embellishments of the dresses.
The dresses are like an armour for the modern and fierce glamazon that perfectly represents the image of Julien MacDonald muses such as Jennifer Lopez who wore his glamorous creations during her latest shows in Las Vegas.
