Top Spring/Summer Fragrances You Didn’t Know Your Vanity Needed!

At this point we all know that you’re never fully dressed without perfume so I’m always on the look-out for an addition to my already excessive collection. But you can never have enough right? Right! The sun is out longer, and the days are getting warmer so I’ve listed some of this season’s most divine scents that not only would make you smell good, but feel good.

BYREDO

This Stockholm-based luxury brand is still under the radar and I just don’t know how! Probably because everyone wants to keep their scent to themselves but don’t worry, that’s what I’m here for! Byredo have a wide range of scents and I’m almost sure there’s is something in the range for everyone. The brands main value is to translate memories and emotions into products and experiences, with their fragrance line, they’ve achieved this as every scent captures a special sensation. Also, their chic and minimalistic packaging is something after my own heart as this is my ultimate aesthetic.

BYREDO – Inflorescence

A scent for the season. This choice is the perfect addition to your spring/summer 21 outfit as it captures the essence of a fully blossomed wildflower garden.

Key notes: Top: Pink Freesia & Rose Petals. Heart: Lily of the Valley, Magnolia. Base: Fresh Jasmine

BYREDO – Gypsy Water

By now we should all be accustomed to their fragrance line because what is a perfume collection without a Tom Ford Scent? Especially their Soliel Collection, they have a way to transport you to a luxurious beach somewhere across the sea.

Tom Ford – Soleil Brülant Eau De Parfum

This fragrance falls right into the ‘sexy’ zone of the brands model, the scent is perfect for date night so pair with an outfit that’ll give you that sultry yet fierce aesthetic. Described as ‘citrus/woody’, the long-lasting scent is perfect for both genders. So, don’t get mad if you find hubby sneaking a spritz! The gold sleek bottle resembles an artistic illustration of a chess piece making it the perfect addition to your vanity.

Tom Ford – Tubéreuse Nue

Tom Ford released Tubéreuse Nue as part of their new spring collection of fragrances, this new selection from their private blend has notes to take you down memory lane. The nostalgic scent of the elegant white tuberose petals harmonised with the new school floral scent of jasmine, makes this fragrance to ‘exude extravagant sensuality’. This very specific warm yet floral scent has a long lingering smell, so a few drops takes you a long way.

Key Notes: Top – Szechuan pepper, jasmine, lily. Heart – Tuberose absolute, cocoa, styrax, benzoin. Base – suede, musk, oud, tonka.

JO MALONE

This season has brought many good things and one of those is the brand-new Jo Malone Spring Collection for men and women! Their new blossom-based catalogue contains floral scents infused with different levels of intensity on the base notes, giving consumers a variety.

Jo Malone Blossom Collection

Yellow Hibisicus is a woody, floral scent with key notes that include, Top – Yellow Hibiscus, Heart –  Rose and Base – White Musk.

Nashi Blossom’s airy, light and playful floral scent makes it perfect for this spring/summer season. Key notes = Top: lemon, Heart – nashi blossom and Base – white musk.

JO MALONE LONDON – Yellow Hibiscus Cologne

Red Hibisicus is an intense amber floral scent with key notes that include, Top – mandarin, Heart – red hibiscus, Sambac, Ylang-Ylang and Base – vanilla.

Frangipani Flower gives a fresh and warm feel, perfect for when you’re on the beach somewhere across the Atlantic. Key notes = Top – jasmine petals, Heart – frangipani and Base – sandalwood.

JO MALONE LONDON – Frangipani Flower Cologne

Jo Malone kept their bottle clean and minimalistic as usual but accessorised this collection with different bright bottle caps to represent the flower inspired by the scent while keeping it smooth and playful.

Christian Dior Paris

EDEN-ROC is a woody floral fragrance with Fresh, Citrus and salty components. Another scent that is perfect for spring, summer and anywhere your skin can be glazed by the sun. It’s natural yet sensual feel will still leave heads turned when you wear it. François Demachy, Dior Perfumer-Creator describes it as…

XERJOFF

Now for the last fragrance and definitely not least, is Elle Eau de Parfum, from the Italian luxury brand dedicated to Arab perfume making. This classic is another sweet, citrus and floral scent that embodies a youthful yet seductive and luxurious feel. It’s a female go-to with its ‘berry’ fruity and smooth scent, so smooth that you won’t be able to pick the notes apart… this scent gives a true sensory experience!

Xerjoff – Elle Eau de Parfum

Key notes: Top – zesty citruses, sweet African orange flower and galbanum. Middle  – powdery iris, birch, patchouli and woody accords. Base – benzoin, opoponax, musk and amber.
